Guided historical and educational excursion

As part of the commemoration of 80 years of the Battle of the Bulge, the Öewersauer Nature Park and the National Liberation Memorial a.s.b.l. invite you to discover the tragedy of the US tanks in Wiltz via Erpeldange, Roullingen, Nocher and the defeat of the German tanks in Eschdorf and Dahl via Goesdorf to the Schumannseck, a national memorial site. These sites are part of the Liberation Route Europe – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, with the support of Visit Éislek.

The excursion is mostly organised by coach, with the exception of the walk along the memorial trail at Schumannseck (approx. 2 km).

It is possible to book a special menu, which will be served at 13:00 – directly after the excursion – in the Tanneries de Wiltz. Further information on registration.
