Together with two scythe instructors from the German Scythe Association, you will learn how to sharpen the scythe properly (denging and grinding) and how to mow with the scythe in a way that is easy on the back. Using existing material, you will learn how great the potential of a good scythe is for native meadow care and insect protection.

Please remember to wear sturdy shoes and rainwear if necessary.

You can bring your own scything equipment for examination. This is a joint activity of the Öewersauer and Our Nature Parks.
