The Upper Sûre Nature Park came into existence in 1999. It was established in order to protect and promote the special natural and cultural features of the region in the northwest of Luxembourg and to make them known beyond its borders. In addition, various projects support the region’s economic and ecological development, using environmental educational measures to increase the awareness of the population for their surroundings.
